Historic Fort Snelling at Bdote.

This National Historic Landmark resides on Dakota homeland, at the confluence of the two rivers known as Bdote, with history spanning 10,000 years. Here, the stories and experiences of many people converge and collide, and continue to unfold today.

Ticket grants you access to the Plank Museum & Visitor Center, grounds, and historic fort.

Upon arrival, please show your printed or electronic ticket at the ticketing desk in the Plank Museum & Visitor Center to receive your admission ticket.

Please Note:
Historic Fort open until 4 pm, Visitor Center open until 4:30 pm. Free admission for Native Americans & Family, Veterans & Family, and Active Military & Family is available only for walk-up tickets in-person at Historic Fort Snelling and not in advance. If you qualify for these options please do not proceed buying tickets online.
